Act without acting,
Work without doing.
Magnify the small,
Increase the few.
Reward bitterness with care.
See simplicity in the complicated,
Achieve greatness in small things.
Slowly, the world’s burden is lifted.
Piecemeal, the world’s treasure is amassed.
The smart man stays with his daily tasks and accomplishes great things.
He is wary of those who promise the quick and the easy:
Much ease brings much difficulty.
Because the smart man sees all things as difficult,
He experiences no difficulty.
