One who embraces the Tao
Is as innocent and pure as a newborn.
Insects will not sting him,
Beasts will not maul him.
He knows nothing of the male or female,
But his grip is firm,
His vitality full.
He can shout all day without straining,
So perfect is his harmony.
Follow harmony to the eternal,
And the eternal to the enlightened.
A full life will be your blessing,
A gentle heart your strength.
It is not wise to rush about.
Control the breath, and strain.
Use too much energy, and exhaustion follows.
When one reaches the height of power, he begins to wane.
